Growth Accelerator Meeting (GAM)

Objective:

A growth Accelerator meeting, or GAM, is an optional quarterly meeting with Crownstack’s Management or leadership team. The meeting’s sole aim is to guide teammates on how they can grow in their careers, which results in accelerated growth for them. Many times, employees struggle to make sense of their future, find it difficult to manage work time, or want to speak to their leaders about some ideas or suggestions. This meeting provides a space for that where team mates can talk to their leaders about their career growth, seek guidance, and discuss their problems.

Process:

The GAM has the following characteristics or process.

  • GAM is a meeting driven by teammates (all Crownstack employees) themselves, who have the power or freedom to set the agenda themselves, meaning that they can chose any discussion point which they would like to talk about.
  • Leadership answers the questions if teammates have any during GAM session.
  • Leadership tries to solve teammates’ problems if they are facing any.
  • Leadership is committed to providing guidance and support if teammates are struggling to lead their teams, instilling a sense of reassurance and confidence.
  • GAM is not a work update meeting. It is a dedicated platform to discuss problems and find solutions, empowering teammates to focus on their career advancement and stay motivated.
  • GAM generally happens once a quarter for 20-30 minutes or so.
  • Team memebers can approach CEO, CTO, Delivery Head, Sales Head, HR Head with any set of questions and schedule a meeting with them.
  • Candidate must submit their questions along with the invite for the GAM.
  • A Google invite must submit queries to be accepted so that all participating members know what the meeting is about and can prepare accordingly.
  • Meeting slots will be published quarterly by leadership team during Quarterly Review Cycle.

Each team member is the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for their own career growth. This means that team memebers are responsible for identifying their career goals, preparing questions for the GAM, and actively participating in the meeting to seek guidance and solutions.

Note: This applies to all team members, and they are responsible for holding a GAM meeting if they wish to. #GAM is part of a more significant initiative within Crownstack, i.e. #COMET (Center of managing employee’s talent).
